The Journey
A tiny sparkling water drop am I
Merged in the vastness of the ocean wide.
Do in no way try to look for me
The only thing you’ll find will be the sea.
Long had been my journey far
After as a raindrop I had taken Avatar.
Riding in a brook I raced down a mountain
Pouring over an edge like a silvery curtain.
I landed in a pond, home to fish and frog
Often watched the sunrise through the fog.
After a pleasant rest the journey continued
In river wide and slow and in solitude.
Saw high-rise buildings, sprawling cities,
Proud Towers and Temples, mediocrities.
Found nothing of interest or attraction
Only longing for lasting satisfaction.
The river met the ocean after voyage long
The depth beckoning here you belong.
Merged in vastness of the ocean wide
A tiny sparkling water drop am I.
Therefore
Do in no way try to look for me
The only thing you’ll find, will be the sea.
